June 2014 Wichita KS USA Urban Farm
Garden going well.
Left: 2nd Year Asparagus bed
Right: My first Blueberry tomatoes are growing
Left: Edamame - very disappointed in those this year. The seeds must have been bad because my success has been minimal
Right: 2nd half of garlic yet to be pulled. Left side of the bed's garlic was a good yield. Dried and sold and planted the edamame in that half of the bed
Left: Green Zerba Stripe Tomatoes
Right: Blueberry tomato plant and 3 jalapano plants
Left: Carrot bed is blowing up!
Right: 2 tomato plants and 6 "fooled-ya" Jalapano (No heat)

Awesome Garden Production!
So far spring and start of summer is going great! Strawberries are pro ducting more than I can eat!
Garlic is starting to fall over so I have been picking it. Smells great and all it is doing is drying so far
Carrots are think and healthy!
Lettuce still great
Horseradish; basil and mint are doing really well!
Asparagus still producing spears!
Tomatoes and pepper plants look great!
Overall: I grade the garden so far as an A+!
Left: My "new" chicken coop! Guy was throwing away a dog house…#winning
Right: My volunteer romaine that I tried to sell at the market - no one bought so I put it back in the ground…still for sale if anyone is looking to grow their own Romaine
Left: Zane, Lucy and Dominic getting down on fresh, hand-picked organic and local strawberries!

Left: Garlic drying. 15 in this picture; another 40+ still in the bed
Right: Starting to get snow peas!
Garlic bulb: 2.5 inches

Here comes summer! 2014
Been a while since update - very busy!
Gardens are in full tilt production mode.
Last week we joined the Wichita Farmers Market at 21st and Ridge and had a great day! Come visit us this summer for your fresh food and gardening needs!!
